Linda has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1988, after being called to work
one-on-one with others serving in a healing modality. She has acquired many hours of
hands-on-experience in private practice. She worked in a Chiropractor’s office
for 7 ½ years problem-solving to address pain and stress management. Her massage
work includes a range from Therapeutic to Specific Deep Tissue work (including
Neuromuscular). It can be integrative and relaxing or specifically targeted to balancing
and releasing painful areas. Each Client can express their goals before and during the
session.
Other modalities Linda uses include CranioSacral and Jin Shin Jyutsu. CranioSacral
can be received fully dressed face up on the massage table. A light touch is used to
effect deep relaxation by allowing the body to address blockages in the CranioSacral
System composed of membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord. Jin Shin Jyutsu directs energy by holding points to balance and harmonize energy flows throughout the body. When blockages are removed, balance in the body, mind and spirit with deep relaxation can be experienced. Jin Shin Jyutsu can also be done fully dressed.
